…or are the pieces too heavy to lift? I honestly have no idea, but I see that the home depot sells the kits. Ideally I’d like to have a kit dropped off, have a bunch of friends come over, and put it together. Is this possible? or is it not that easy? Thanks!

Building an Outdoor Gas Fireplace?
I want to build an outdoor gas fireplace but the ring kits they sell are very expensive. I understand that to connect to natural gas I would have a shut off valve then a regulating orrifice then it gets dispursed thru the rings. My question is can I solder this up in copper and drill holes in the copper to save money or would the heat melt the solder? I guess the BTU’s are around 70,000.

How know gas fireplace exhaust safe?
I have a craftsman installing replacement gas pipe for a gas fireplace and also a gas firplace kit from Lowe’s; we are basically replacing the gas fireplace. The house was built in 1958 and at some point had a gas fireplace but it has not been used in years. The chimney is intact and goes up to an opening. I had it inspected by a chimney sweep and he said does not meet code for wood burning as it is just a brick chimney, with no steel insert. I am wondering how do I know the exhaust from this new gas fireplace will all go up the chimney and none will go back into the house? How do I know it is safe. Could I have my gas company test it? Or is there another way to insure it is safe? Is this a valid concern?
DIY pool kit, are they wort it?
has anyone built/dug their own pool, or known anyone who has built/dug, with one of those pool kits? was it worth it, I would hire out most of the work. was it worth it? did it work? were the instructions ok? would you do it again? where did you order it from? and did you go with the polimer or steel sides? why which is better?
Building a steel home?
We are looking at our options for building an inexpensive home. We have seen advertisements for the steel home kits, but are unsure of how to do something like that. We want to spend our money on several acres and building a large home, without a lot of frills. If you have done this before, can you tell me if it saves much money, compared to building a traditional home? What problems should we be aware of? Energy efficiency? Durability? Any information from somebody with experience in this area is appreciated.
Steel Frame Outdoor BBQ/Kitchen?
Hi There – We are wanting to build an outdoor kitchen and build it using steel frame. Where could we purchase the steel? Does anyone sell any kits for outdoor kitchens? Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I’d ultimately like the exterior to be stucco with a tile countertop.
Aluminum/Steel garage cheaper?
I’ve been looking for a steel garage and they seem a bit pricey. But a relative of mine said that a buddy of his built what would have been a ,000 building for 00 dollars because he didn’t buy the kit through a supplier, but rather bought pieces through somebody else to assemble and put together himself. Anybody know of any website or possibly places in E. Georgia/W. Alabama that would sell this kind of stuff?
I meant W. Georgia/E. Alabama

What type of house could you build for ,000? Steel prefab? Kit? This is exactly my situation. I do not want a mobile home, but seeking some inexpensive way to build a house. I would consider any design or any material at this point. The lot size is 60×90′. Thanks!
