  1. A far cheaper rig?

    AMD 6400+ Windsor 3.2ghz = $163
    Asus M3A 770 AM2+ motherboard = $90
    EVGA 512MB 8800GT = $200
    Seagate 250GB HDD = $67
    Liteon DVD Burner = $25
    A Data ddr2 800 4GB (2 x 2) RAMs = $77
    Antec 900 casing = $100
    Logisys 650W = $65
    Vista Home Premium 64 bit = $110
Total = $897, prices off Newegg

  2. 32bit os with 4gb ram = problem

    never heard of the psu

    thermaltake coolers are really loud.

get a hdd with 32mb cache.

  3. i agree with above post, except im a little more forgiving. get the x64 edition, or just stick with 2gb of ram and save some money. the build you described will not let you down.

  4. ive honestly never herd of that psu brand.. and im checking the stats on the egg, and they don’t have any details about the power on the 12 V rails.. thats also ALOT of extra power.. your entire rig can probably run at 450W..

you can spend less then 10$ more and get a 500-600W rock soild psu from silverstone, fsp, antec, msi, corsair

and yes.. Vista 32bit does support 4GB ram…
